TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE ACCREDITATION PROGRAMME

  1. Australian Bridal Service Accredited Businesses and their representatives agree to abide by the spirit of the Code at all times.
  2. Businesses must display their accreditation plaque, Code of Conduct certificate and window sticker in prominent view of their customers.
  3. Businesses understand that the Australian Bridal Service Accredited Businesses Programme will monitor service standards annually using random mystery shoppers.
  4. In the event of a complaint made against a business, the Australian Bridal Service Accredited Businesses Programme will evaluate the situation independently before bringing the matter to the attention of the business.
  5. The Australian Bridal Service Accredited Businesses Programme will not be held liable for any legal action that may arise between the business and their client.
  6. In the event that the Australian Bridal Service Accredited Businesses Programme deems a business has violated the Code of Conduct or Terms & Conditions, they will be automatically disassociated and accreditation fees will be forfeited.
  7. All yearly accreditation plaques, certificates and stickers, including all other promotional material supplied, remain the property of the Australian Bridal Service Accredited Businesses Programme and must be returned to the Australian Bridal Service Accredited Businesses Programme in the event of the business being disassociated.
  8. The disassociated business is prohibited from then making any further reference to the Australian Bridal Service Accredited Businesses Programme in advertisements or promotional literature. Unauthorised use of the Australian Bridal Service Accredited Businesses logo will result in prosecution.
  9. Accreditation must be renewed 1 month prior to the expiry date each year. Failure to do so will result in dis-association. Accreditation renewal after the expiry date will incur an additional $100 re-establishment fee.
  10. The Australian Bridal Service Accredited Businesses Programme reserves the right to remain the sole judge on all decisions relating to any infringement of the Code of Conduct or Terms and Conditions.
  11. The Australian Bridal Service Accredited Businesses Programme reserves the right to add or amend the Code of Conduct or Terms & Conditions at any time with out notice.
  12. The Australian Bridal Service Accredited Businesses Programme requests that all items carrying the logo be displayed in a professional manner.  

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE PLATINUM PRIVILEGE CARD

  1. The discounts, special offers and incentives relating to the Platinum Privilege Discount Card are only available when this card is presented at the time of booking / quotation of the product or service in question.
  2. The use of the Platinum Privilege Discount Card constitutes acceptance of the Terms & Conditions connected to this card and listed on this website.
  3. The Platinum Privilege Discount Card and its discounts, special offers and incentives cannot be used in conjunction with any sale or special offer that the participating retailer may hold throughout the year.
  4. All discounts, special offers and incentives are only available until the expiry date shown on the individual’s Platinum Privilege Discount Card.
  5. The Platinum Privilege Discount Card and its discounts, special offers and incentives are not redeemable for cash, unless specified.
  6. The discounts, special offers and incentives are listed in the Wedding Directory on this website and in this website’s monthly Newsletter.
  7. All discounts, special offers and incentives may be subject to change at any time without notice. Discounts, special offers and incentives are only available while currently displayed on this website.
  8. Some Accredited Businesses are unable to give a discount, special offer or incentive and may be exempt from this card programme. Please refer to the Wedding Directory section of this website to confirm participating businesses and their offers.
  9. The Platinum Privilege Discount Card may only be used by the person whose signature appears on the card and must be presented in person. You may be asked to sign when using this card or the card number may be used for verification purposes.
  10. The Platinum Privilege Discount Card shall expire either on the wedding day of the cardholder or be set for a two year period from the date the card is obtained, which ever date occurs first.
  11. The Platinum Privilege Discount Card shall always remain the property of the Australian Bridal Service Pty Ltd.

SUBMISSION TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. By uploading photos or editorial, you are allowing the Australian Bridal Service to publish it on their website and, once published, it will be available for viewing by any other person visiting the Australian Bridal Service website.
    All submitted photographs must have the permission of the original photographer (person who took the photograph).
    Where photographs include images of people you agree that you will only upload them after obtaining the permission of those people appearing in the photographs. In addition, anyone under the age of 18 must seek the consent of their parent or guardian, to be included in any photograph which is uploaded.
    The Australian Bridal Service reserves the right, for whatever reason, to decline publication of any photograph which is uploaded, or if necessary, to edit any title or description. The Australian Bridal Service Magazine may not enter into discussion with you the submitter or with the owner of the photograph prior to publishing.
    Please contact the Australian Bridal Service immediately regarding any photograph submitted in error or one that you feel is infringing the Terms and Conditions above.
    These Terms and Conditions are in addition to the standard the Australian Bridal Service Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
